If you are at all curious about what the younger generation is thinking about non-profit giving, here's a great resourse. Millennials were defined as anyone ages 20-35. Some interesting highlights Inlcude:
*Three-quarters of the Millennials responding to our survey made a financial gift to a nonprofit organization in 2011.
* Over 3 years it has been clear that websites are the first and most preferred way for a Millennial to learn more about an organization.
* 40% said they simply have never been asked to sit on a non-profit Board.
* Mission statements should show the purpose and value of the organization without being lengthy
* 41% of Millennials say they plan to volunteer more in 2012.
