Promotion & Marketing the Old Fashioned Way

When planning a major fundraiser, a big part of its success is driven by how many guests you can get in the seats.  If you are on the Auction Committee, you are likley telling everyone you know about the event, calling friends and generally using every aspect of Social Networking available.  But for those times when you are out soliciting items for your Charity Auction, or when you run into someone on the street, how are you passing on the message about your event?  St. Marcus School in Milwaukee has 1,000 business cards printed each eyar with all the info you need to know about thier event.  Costs about $50, everyone on the committee carries a few dozen wherever they are at and it helps get the word out about this great event!
